The truck had sat for many years due to stuck tranny, a common fault of the OEM 3 speeds of that period. </font> <p><font face="Arial" size="2">Stuck between gears, the owner didn't know what the problem was and let the truck go for a real bargain price. The truck had very little rust and only a minor imperfections in the body. </font> </p> <p><font face="Arial" size="2">The project began by removing the body and installing a 1973 Road Runner IFS under the stodgy bow-tie frame. Jerry's Restoration did the magic on the body and Schmidt's upholstery installed the great looking interior. </font></p> <p><font face="Arial" size="2"> The truck has been lowered by 6.5 " and it fly's down the road with the Vintage AC and the CD player humming way like a brand new truck might. </font></p> <p><font face="Arial" size="2">So far, the truck has been shown 4 times and won 5 top place trophies.
