Seat springs

Does any one know where to buy new seat springs?

Thank you Mac. I have checked with a couple shops who suggested that they were specialty items and to try my luck on the internet. I did find a parcial spring at LMC for the 66 but it is the wrong partial piece that i need. Ideally I would like the entire spring (times ten) because all of mine have broken at the back. I also have looked at just buying other seats but find that the springs on the drivers side are also broken (yup, there is a left and a right spring). Don't want to buy a lot of extra seats ($$$$$).

Since that would seem to indicate that the springs you need have a definite life span, maybe a different seat altogether might be the best route. A seat from the next model year or iteration of that truck style perhaps. In looking for replacement springs it would seem that a restoration of your truck to original is what you're after, but what about a different trim level of the same model truck? Is that a possibiity?
