One thing that I was told when I bought my truck last week is that the dash lights went out. I located the fuse box but wondering which of the 5 fuses it is? None of them looked blown so thats why I was concerned.

The first detent on your headlight switch is for your dash lights. The switch is usally cheap ($10) but depending on your truck, installation can be tricky. Normally you push the handle release button on the side and the shaft will slide out the front, and then unscrew the bezel and the switch should come out the rear of the dash. If all fuses are good it could be that or all the bulbs are blown which is another animal altogether!

Oh, so you think it might be possible that the headlight switch will fix it? It's like all the lights except for the dash lights work. I was thinking on Sunday I might play around and see if I can pull the dash so I can check some of the bulbs.

It's very possible that the switch is the culprit if all else is working...

Ok, I'm going to find a catalog and see if I cant locate me a headlight switch.
Not sure if you saw my other post about my truck swerving while I'm driving. I'm not sure if its a suspension issue, because the steering wheel is smaller, or because I'm used to driving smaller vehicles and not adjusted to the big truck yet. I did notice a bushing that is obviously worn right around where the lower control arm would be in another vehicle. Any thoughts?
