problem with starter

I have a 1967 f-100 series truck with a 390. i been having problems starting it. at first i bought a new starter from the auto shop and put it in it started and worked for a couple of days. then it made the same sound a screeching. after that i put a new solenoid in it and started for a little bit then it stopped working it made the same scretching sound.

Any input would be greatley appreciated thanks.

well it sounds like the starter is loose or the ring gear has some teeth worn out.
