Spare Tire Filler Panel for '55 Chevy Pickup?

Help! I want to get rid of the spare tire wheel well that currently 'lives' on the fender of my '55 Chevy Pickup! I thought about buying another fender...but the one I currently have is in excellent condition! Does anyone know where I can get a panel that is made to replace that wheel well with?

There are people looking for those spare tire fenders. Buy a new one and sell your nice spare tire fender. Patching the original fender is fraught with many chances for a poor result. There are nice reproduction and nice used parts out there. I swapped my spare tire fender for a smooth one at a local swap meet. Both me and the other guy were happy with the results.

If you don't want the spare in the bed, you may have to adapt a later model setup to hang it underneath. My '55 is missing some parts, and I may try to adapt an S-10 setup to it with the windup cable. Clean & easy.
