Hey folks...
First off, my name is Luke, and I just joined the forum today. Now, I have some questions...
I just purchased a 1950 Chevy 3100 and It's my new project. I've noticed that there are a ton of sites in which to order parts from. Being new to the truck world, I would like to know where the best source for parts, upgrades and general goodies for the truck is?
Also, are there any other forums one can recommend for good sources as well? Any help would be appreciated.
PM me with any info you don't wish to post in the thread if need be.

Hey there Luke. Name is Rich and I have a 54 GMC. To answer your question, No one place has all what you need or looking for. However, I will recommend a couple of places. One is " Classic Parts of America". Alot of us has used their stuff. Suggest you get as many catalogs as possible from all the vendors. Another good source is Brothers Trucks in California and not to mention Truck Shop in Orange,Ca. and Classic Performance Products.
Best of luck with your truck

Luke,
First, welcome! Second, I agree with Rich in that Classic Parts of America (http://www.classicparts.com/) has some of the best prices around! I also like Year One (http://www.yearone.com/) and Summit Racing (http://www.summitracing.com/) for performance parts.
You can also try LMC (http://www.lmctruck.com/index.htm). They are a bit higher on some items, but they have almost everything the others don't have.
Good luck and let us see some pics of your project!

LMC, Classic parts of america, Jim Carter chevy, Classic Chevrolet Parts inc., Brothers, EBAY (ha, got some good parts though), even Kanter (though i wouldnt recommend them).
My favorites would have to be Classic Parts of America and LMC truck. those are the best prices and most selection i believe.
