SPeakers? Bed cross members?

Im now looking to get one of those USA-2's or something for a good $190 and im wondering if anyone has looked at those dual speakers that everyone sells for behind the dash? how do they sound? are they worth it? ALSO...are there supposed to be only two crossmembers on the bed besides the front and rear?

The speakers ??? sorry.
The cross Members..I have 3 on my 54 GMC. One in the front next to the cab, one near the middle and one near the rear of the bed.
What year is yours?

Don't know anything about the speakers. My truck is a 1951 Chevy.

Im not sure exactly, because i was sold the truck thinking it a '50, but i found later that the engine and frame are 50's but hte cab is a 49 and im not sure of the year of the bed, though i know its earlier than 49 because it has a hold for the gas filler neck on the side. And my 49 cab has the filler neck hole behind the seat there. IF i should only have on in the middle then ill just keep the otehr there because it helps add support to my bedwood, as im only using 1/2 in plywood, one 4x8 piece that i cut to size.
