Who knows this may be simple, because a lot of past experience has proved to be just that. Anyways, here's the situation I have and I'm putting it on the table here in the hope of some suggestion or maybe a solution.

Driver calls and says my engine "JUST QUIT" boom shut off and won't start. I check it out at roadside. Turn on the key switch and the voltmeter is reading 8 volts, so I thought dead batteries no power to ECM (EZ FIX) Wrong assumption. I test each battery and they are fully charged. Checked all fuses and relays (ok) Even changed out ignition switch to no avail. Can't see any wire breaks, or plugs undone ????????????????????

When the key is on the blower motor works fine, all accessories work fine, but when turned to the crank or start position it has no response. I placed a remote starter on and tested the starter operation. That whips the motor over like nobodys business !

Hooked up scanner to check fault codes and I have "No Active Communication" from the ECM.

OK anybody ever run into this ordeal before or have any suggestion as to what this problem could be?

Thanks In Advance for your help.

Jim
