I have put a 76 nova sub frame under my 53 GMC. I have a 76 lincoln 9" rear with the factory disc out back. My problem is with the bolt patern. the rear is 5 on 5" and the front is 5 on 4.75". I want to swap the front to 5 on 5 so that I have an easier time finding wheels. I noticed that my 72 chevy C10 has the correct patern but when I did a search on the wheel bearings they are different. Is the spindel diferent and the rotors the same? Is there a stock rotor that I can put on the nova spindel and change the bolt patern?

I am really looking for a stock part. I like the Idea of being able to go to the local parts store for replacement parts or if something breaks on a long trip, I am not stuck.

Excellent idea,Dan. Have the rear axel drilled for the 4 3/4 chevy pattern. I'm sure that would be a lot easier.

I have tried to find a machine shop that can do that in my little remote neck ofthe woods here in GA. I have even checked within 50 mile of my town. They can drill them but can not guarentee that they will be centered corectly.

JC Whitney sells wheel dust covers. It will make a nice pattern to use for centering and drilling. They have one with a pattern of round holes vs oval the holes for the pattern. Can't get much easier?
