I have been looking for a truck to fix up and the other day I came across a International Pickup Truck. I dont have a lot of knowledge of older cars and didn't even know that they made trucks like this then besides the Scouts I think they were.
Anyway I called the owner and he is wanting $750 for it. It is a 1970 International 1110 with a straight six in it. It did have a 3 on the column but the linkage was messed up on it so they put it on the floor. It has the original motor and he says he thinks it has 53000 miles on it, but I am thinking 153000. The guy said it was built for the Airforce and someone told him there were only 500 made (not for sure if any of that is true).
Like I said I really would like this car to fix up but first of all, is this a rare truck that needs to be restored? Secondly, how hard is it going to be to find parts and other stuff for this thing? Thirdly, does anyone know anything about this truck?
