Vacuume wiper vs. electric

hey ive got a question. The old wiper motors, are they one speed or two? also, i have yet to use one, and i wanted to know wheater it was worth paying the $139 to get the electric one, if the vacuume one was really that crappy. and also how the hell is that vacuume motor linkage hooked up? cant figure it out for crap. probably becuase i dont have the linkage, just the motor :o

Yes the vacuumn motor was two speed. Either ON or OFF. I bought the electric motor as it is a direct replacement for the vacuum motor and was easy to install. Not sure what linkage you're talking about? The metal rods from the wiper blades?

hey, haha, thanks. Im thinking of replacing them, not sure if the proce is worth it is all. No im talking about the linkage from the on/off switch to the vacuume motor. I cant see where the on/off valve thing is nor how the little rod from the switch connects to it.
