Battery Size For a 54 Chevy 3100

Does anyone know where I can find the size of the battery to use in a 54 3100. It's a 12 volt battery and I want it to fit under the factory hold down. I dont have the hold down yet so I cant measure it.

OK, well never mind. I just bought a battery and crammed it in there. I will just get an aftermarket hold down for it

That's exactly what I did also. The box is large enough for an average size battery.

just use a tape measure and go to wal-mart.there should be no problem in this big search for a battery.If your running a 6V system look into a 8V battery.It will work wonders in the cold weather:D
