what to use

i would like to now what to use as a truck frame to replace my original frame with a newer frame what i can i use or what have you used
fyi: i have a 48 chevy 1/2 pickup thaht has 116'' wheel base i need a truck that wil work with my truck thank you for any help

i've heard alot of good things about chevy S-10 frames, but i've never done it.

Go to www.ad-engineering.com and see what you think about that swap. I am working on one right now, and it has not been hard yet. The hardest part is finding a good donor frame.

i was thinking about using a 1978 c/k2500 it rear end width from backing plate to backing plate is 53" what is it on a 48 chevy is it smaller or larger please help here again
