| "My panel is a 55 second series
Chevy. Purchased in 9/97 it has been a chore the last two years to repair
and replace what the prior owner had cut out w/ a sawzall. The photo where
the panel is hanging from its roof is the way I discovered it. The floor
steps and toe boards were cut out and two windows were cut in the drivers
side because he decided he was going to make it into a suburban.
To date I have fabbed steps, rockers, floor, smoothed the firewall, shaved mirrors and handles, fabbed one piece windows, frenched in third brake light, fabbed a rear rollpan, fabbed a hide away plate bracket, frenched in escort backup lights for turn signals. The frame was clipped w/ a 79 camaro clip. All rebuilt w/ fresh bushings ball joints etc. 72 nova rear , th350 tranny 350 v-8 stock rebuild , all new fuel lines, and power brake assembly fabbed to frame . The photos I have sent are fairly old the body is in its final bodywork stages and the wiring is underway, the interior panels have been started , I will send other photos later their being developed. Oh forgot to mention also had to weld in the entire driver side top half to replace cut out windows. also rear quarters from the beltline down was fabbed and replaced." ~Steve |

| Here's an update. I'm in the final sanding and puttying stages of my panel. The firewall has been painted and the body will be placed back on chassis this week. The leather interior has been fitted, and the rough wiring has been routed, also the jambs have been prepped to accept new windows. It wont be to much longer before we'll be able to put it in drive. ~Steve | |
